     2. Add 13th Month Salary column to calculate 13th month salary for employees

The 13th Month Salary column will automatically calculate the 13th-month salary for employees based on their payslip data.

Note:

A separate Payslip Template must be created specifically for 13th-month salary calculations.

The 13th-month salary cannot be calculated in a December payslip.

Calculating the December salary and 13th-month salary simultaneously may result in inaccurate 13th-month salary calculations.

The system will determine the average annual salary by calculating the average of the "Net Pay" values from the past 12 closed payslips.

Case:

If an employee has more than 12 payslips in a year, the system will still calculate the average based on the "Net Pay" values from all payslips.

If a payslip lacks a "Net Pay" value, the system will automatically assign a value of 0 and proceed with the average calculation.

Step 1: Create a Payslip Template and select the "13th Month Salary" column. You can customize the name of this column within the Payroll Columns screen in Settings.

Step 2: Generate a payslip. The system will automatically calculate the employee's average annual salary and determine the 13th-month salary accordingly.
